On the other hand, if you are submitting an English document as a supporting document in Germany, it will need to be translated by a sworn translator who has taken an oath at a local or regional court in Germany.

Yes! When we send the translated documents, we will provide a Certificate of Translation Accuracy, which will confirm:
• that it's a 'true and accurate translation of the original document'
• the full name, signature, and contact details of a representative of the translation company (not the translator)
• translation stamp and credentials of our translation company.

Yes. Our sworn translations are accepted by the Standesamt (Civil Registry Office), Jugendamt (Youth Office), Ausländerbehörde (Foreign Registration Office) and other institutions, such as universities, banks, and courts. If you are submitting an English document as a supporting document to any of these organisations, it will need to be translated by a sworn translator who has taken an oath at a local or regional court in Germany.

Translations for documents under 500 words can be provided by the next working day, and documents ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 words are usually completed within 48-72 hours. If you have a larger project with urgent translation needs, please let us know and we'll do our best to meet your deadline.

Certified translations will be sent to you electronically as a PDF file via email. If a physical copy is required, you have the option of printing the PDF document and it will be considered as an original copy. However, please ensure that you print the translated documents in colour. This will help distinguish them from photocopies and avoid any potential confusion. If you have requested sworn, notarised or apostilled translations, they will be sent to you by post.

We will endeavour to ensure that we provide you with a high-quality and professional translation. If the service that we provide does not meet your expectations, we will assess the queries and, if deemed necessary, have the translated material revised/proofread at no extra cost. This, however, does not cover a) Preferential changes; b) Very minor errors such as minimal typos and omissions that do not affect the sense of the translated text unless you have commissioned our proofreading services. Any issues regarding quality should be raised within 30 days.

Should you no longer require the translations, cancellation charges will be payable as a percentage of the completed word count, unless more than 50% of the project has been completed, in which case we will charge the full fees.
